Todays gangway could not have been more humid and sweaty, then came the rain as light relief, and then more humidity... The local people are really lovely and the guests seem to be enjoying themselves (minus the heat). but unfortunately there are restrictions at who can get off at this port. Being crew we are last priority on the disembarking front. After waiting 45 minutes we decided some photos from top deck would do us for today and that a cold shower and bed are probably better ideas (i'm currently destroying a box of Maltese's, in my pyjamas, watching some random film from the 70s)
Things are a little up in the air, with no real set routine each day, which is turing out to be very tiring but it's keeping me on my toes. I've personally been doing great with over all sales and keeping the gallery beautiful, but i need to get back into the frame of mine when it comes to asking guests if they'd like a photo... it's more a suggestion they should than anything else.
Lands feels like a distant memory right now too. Without being given much opportunity to get off ship for the last two week i'm starting to form a ship-bubble, concentrating on the people and the work and the places we're going more than catching up with home. It was however very nice

to catch up with mum and Sally a few days ago, keeping connected even if it's by a tiny threat.
